
Here is quick news for all those entertainment lovers. As announced by the organizers, the BayFest 2009 asked the Hard-rock Halestorm group to perform at the Pepsi Stage for Saturday, Oct. 3. The group has agreed to perform around 5 p.m. in second place amongst Top of the Orange and Cavo. Halestorm “I Get Off,” is a major debut launched this spring to have ranked in Top 10 in the Billboard’s rock charts.
Although most of us know but for those who still are unaware about the BayFest, it will be held in downtown Mobile from Oct. 2 to 4. The list of events can be found at www.bayfest.com.
Country Singers who will brighten up the BayFest 2009 are rockers 3 Doors Down, Chevelle and Train; T-Pain, Alan Jackson, Gary Allan, Ne-Yo, Billy Currington and James Otto; and rap/R&B acts Anita Baker, Stone Temple Pilots, Wet Willie, the Steve Miller Band, Avant, Musiq Soulchild, and Akon.
Cost of Passes:
The charges for Weekend passes will be $35 while the Single-day passes cost $25. No entry fee will be charged for Children under 12 if an adult ticketholder comes with them.
Availability of Passes:
While the Single-day passes will be available only at the gate, the weekend passes can be bought either online at www.bayfest.com or at physical outlets such as the Whitney and Hancock bank branches, Regions, IP Casino in Biloxi and the offices of the Downtown Mobile Alliance.
