British author, Clive Barker is again proud to see his another story getting adapted for a film. His superb story “The Madonna” from “Books of Blood” is the latest pick for adaptation into a movie.
Jorge Saralegui will be producing the adaptation of Barker’s Madonna and in an interview he revealed that he will be shooting Madonna before Pig Blood Blues in 2009. He also said, “We were looking for something to do between Dread and Pig Blood Blues,” he said. “Our other projects that we have in development were not quite ready.”
“The Madonna” is a story based on a creature that lives in an abandoned bathhouse where all men are getting turned into women slowly by the creature. Wait for this movie to be released next year and see how it focuses on a gangster who too starts turning into a woman.
